The short version: we collect as little as we can, we do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by sending one email.

What we collect
If you only read, we log an anonymised page view — the page, a coarse country, and the referring site. No cookie is set for this and it cannot be tied back to you.
If you subscribe to a newsletter we store your email address and which lists you are on. If you buy a subscription we store your name, billing address and the last four digits of your card. Payment details are handled by our processor and never touch our servers.
Advertising
Display advertising is served contextually — based on the section you are reading, not on a profile of you. We do not run behavioural retargeting and we do not share reader data with advertisers.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@meridian.example and we will action it within thirty days.
